More About Antonia
Antonia is a postpartum doula and child development specialist based in Lakeview East, Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago and her Master of Science in Child Development with an Infancy Concentration from Erikson Institute. She has 9+ years of experience in the field working with children and families in a variety of settings. She has held roles such as Early Intervention Developmental Therapist, therapeutic preschool teacher, assistant toddler teacher, nanny, and more.
During her graduate studies, Antonia was called to the invaluable work of postpartum doulas. She deeply appreciates that this season of new parenthood is a profound mix of excitement and vulnerability. Her goal is to serve as a steady, peaceful presence for you and a trusted resource for your family, ensuring everyone feels supported and cared for as you navigate this special time.
From understanding the 'why' behind your newborn’s cries to knowing just the right play ideas, I’m here to guide you. I provide every family with personalized knowledge, resources, and insights into your baby's cues, so you can build confidence and connect with your child as they grow. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a safe place for families during a time of transition, and can’t wait to be a part of your “village”!
In addition to her work supporting children and families, Antonia enjoys walks by the lake, reading, coloring, cooking new recipes, and spending time with her cat, Minka!
